Happy New Year

Christmas was fabulous...we got to see many of our family members. I had a little too much fun dancing to the music playing from my mom's new iPod speakers (note my attempt at the robot) and Cliff is in love with with Eli the golden-doodle. (Shhh...don't tell Laken, she might get jealous!)

So we are heading out for our annual Christmas tour of the south tomorrow. Laken may have to share the backseat with all of the gifts we are bringing! Here is our schedule:

Wednesday/Thursday: Florence, AL
Thursday/Friday/Saturday/Sunday: Clinton, MS
Saturday: Magee, MS

Most of you know that we are obsessed with our dog, Laken. But how can you not be obsessed with something as cute as this? Little baby Laken let me play dress up with her! This picture was taken when we first moved to Nashville over two years ago! Laken will be three in March...can you believe it! What a cutie.

Gift Ideas for Cliff

If any of you are feeling especially generous, you can get Cliff this Land Rover for Christmas. We were leaving Moe's Restaurant one Sunday after lunch and Cliff made me stop the car on the side of the road so he could capture a photo of this vehicle. I can't remember how much he said it cost...but trust me...it's a lot. I think I remember him saying something like it's 85...and I said $8,500? He said no....$85,000. My bad.

**Update - I stand corrected, the Land Rover is a '92 and $45,000. Not as expensive as I thought!

Here we go again...

I want to blog. I feel the need to blog. I think that most of our family and friends would be interested in reading a Cliff and Casey Blog. However, my husband does not want to blog, my husband does not feel the need to blog. BUT, I am convinced that when Cliff sees how much fun it is for us to blog, he'll blog. I don't know how often we'll blog or how interesting it will be when we do blog, but we're gonna blog. Now, let me finish this blog and send it to Cliff to see how much he hates the blogging.

By the way, Friday night it snowed. This was the first snow like this in December since 2000!
